A continuum

The other day my husband was playfully scolding me while my little one was watching. And upon realizing that I am getting scolded he jumped on top of him and was trying to lean him over to the bed ( a game that my kiddo and husband plays). In his little mind, he was trying to save me from getting scolded and he was doing it very cute. We both knew what he was trying to do and my husband went with his game and stopped teasing me.

But today I just couldn't be there while his dad turned into a dragon.  A dragon who's trying too meet the ends today huffed at his little dragon who was already scared not knowing what was happening.

I now remember all the times that he saved me but today I was just not there. tired the little dragon is asleep.

I will make it right tomorrow kiddo. Really sorry I was not there to shield you today.
